Nemesia Edging

End by repeating row 1 for joining seam. Do not cut yarn. Remove crochet cast on carefully (one stitch at a time), placing the 13 stitches onto needle. Right sides facing, join first row and last row with a three needle bind off. Make another edging for other leg.

Finishing

Place knickers on ironing board, right side up. Mist with filtered water and pin out to shape (use pins in an upright position to secure shape, and do not pin or stretch ribbing sections). Allow to dry then seam centre back with a back stitch seam. Smooth out knickers so centre back is in correct position and inner leg is matched. Sew inner leg seam with a back stitch seam, carefully lining up rows. Weave in ends.

Handwash with pure soap or liquid organic wash. Thread pre-washed and ironed silk ribbon through eyelets at waist; form into bow.
