 NOTES

Instructions are for the smaller size. Larger size is given in the following brackets. Where only one figure is given, this applies to both sizes.

TENSION

This design is based on a standard tension of 14 sts and 18 rows to 2 ins (5 cm), measured over stocking stitch on size 3.25mm needles.

IMPORTANT

It is essential that you test your tension before commencing knitting in order that your garment is the correct size. If you have more sts and rows to 2 ins (5 cm), use a thicker needle; if you have less sts and rows to 2 ins (5 cm), use a finer needle.
