TO MAKE UP
Press work carefully on wrong side with hot iron over a damp cloth.

Using a crochet hook, work 1 row of holes round the neck thus: Commencing at right back edge, work 1 d.c. into first st. * 3 ch., 1 tr. into the 3rd st. from hook * repeat * to * all round. Now work the following picot edging ** 3 ch., 1 d.c. into first of these ch., 1 single crochet into the 2nd st. from hook ** repeat ** to ** all round.
Work 1 row d.c. down each side of back opening, working a 2nd row on right side, making 4 buttonhole loops at even distances.
Sew on buttons to match the button loops. Thread ribbon through holes at waist and neck.
Press seams.
